This maybe a over simplistic view but I think that you can make mountain biking as simple or as complicated as you want it to be. That is one of the great things about mountain biking your only limited by your imagination, or lack of.......... lol

People do sue to much in the US, its all about quick $$$ for nothing..... The first thing I thought when the dude said its all my fault I was to close is damn dude you just lost the lawsuit you admitted you were in the wrong, how sad is that, that the first thing in my mind was how do I protect myself from getting sued in that situation. I know a guy who allowed his son to ride a friends quad and when his kid broke his leg he sued the friend. What makes this even more retarded is the guy allows his son to races quads so its not like the kid was a beginner.......
